Metro Trains' journey with Paddl Games started with a Scratch Space Challenge held in September 6th 2017. This event surfaced innovative ideas and solutions in a competitive environment involving 60 participants. The winning ideas from the challenge were progressed into the next phase of the commercialisation process - Metro Skunk Works (validation phase).  This was a 30 day innovation project with 43 participants who were employed by Metro Trains to deliver a business case and working wireframes for three innovation projects. The Metro Skunk Works concluded on Tuesday, November 28th 2017 at Metro Trains headquarters in Docklands, Victoria where participants pitched their ideas and solutions to members of the Metro Innovation Council.
