Bunnings and Paddl Present an Exciting New Paddl Games Innovation Challenge
Paddl is incredibly excited to have partnered with Bunnings to present the Bunnings Paddl Games: Innovating for Bunnings on December 6th in Melbourne VIC.
As one of the most iconic Australian brands, Bunnings is no stranger to people across Australia. Employing over 40,000 team members and operating right across the country with about 11 million customers a month, Bunnings really is a household name. Yet they also realise the importance of continued innovation to drive progress and engagement with their base. To that end, Bunnings has partnered with Paddl to take part in the latest Paddl Games Challenge and are looking for bright young minds to consider the future of the ‘Bunnings Warehouse’ brand.
At Paddl, we care deeply about helping you reach your potential by developing meaningful experience. That’s why we created Paddl Games - opportunities for you to apply and develop your unique skills in cross-disciplinary teams. You’ll work with employees from leading organisations as you develop and pitch a real business case in a dynamic, fun and competitive hackathon-like environment - it’s an experience you don’t want to miss!
Like our other Paddl Games challenges, the day will be divided into three ‘sprints.’ During these phases you’ll work with your cross-disciplinary team of 10 including Paddlrs, Bunnings employees and a Paddl facilitator, to identify a problem and innovate a solution. Towards the end of the day, you’ll pitch your solution to our judging panel. This is an opportunity to take the business case your team developed, pitch it in front of a large audience, and receive feedback on the spot.
BUT, you won’t just develop and apply awesome design thinking skills, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet with a hiring manager in a one-on-one, 15 minute career advice session. This is an informal chat, where you get to ask an industry professional questions about how you can kickstart your career and further develop your own experience. Who knows, it may even lead to you being hired down the track!
Oh, and did we mention there are AWESOME PRIZES to be won by the best of the best on the day?
